“Every job brings a new sense of childlike wonder.”
About
Tony has steadily built a career spanning several years in the mediums of Film and TV through dedication to his mahi (work). Born in Aotearoa (New Zealand), he began his journey at Actors Lab Studio (Tāmaki Makaurau, NZ) after signing with his first talent manager in 2019. His CV has now grown to include a variety of productions on which he has collaborated with directors and producers across Aotearoa and Australia, with films having received numerous accolades and international acclaim from around the globe.
His diverse body of mahi is a great reflection of the integrity he brings to the screen as an actor.
He first appeared on screen in the Kiwi teen comedy-drama series The Eggplant (TVNZ+) as a recurring role. His further television credits include Shortland Street (South Pacific Pictures), Camp Be Better (NZ On Air), The Ridge (Great Southern Studios) and Garden Cops (Wildaval Productions).
For Tony, every job brings a new challenge, a new sense of childlike wonder, and every character provides an aspect of life that he is looking to explore. That is one of the key aspects of acting that drives his aroha (love) for the art and will continue to do so throughout his lifelong journey, with highs and, in his words, a few “lessons learned.”
2026 and 2027 have already seen him take on a range of diverse roles, including appearing in a kimono in the upcoming samurai feature film Tomoe, by Tomo Nogi, director of the acclaimed samurai action film Issen (Karori Production), and the feature film Second Nature, starring alongside Paipera Hayes and Vinnie Bennett.
Next year, he will appear in the Australian buddy romantic comedy Passport Bros, alongside Kelvin Taylor and Benda John, produced by Kiirokuro Productions and set to film in Sydney, Australia.
